One of the rarest armor sets in the game, most Golden Efreeti Armor drops from the three Efreeti Lords which inhabit the Plane of Sky:

• Noble Dojorn
• Overseer of Air
• the Hand of Veeshan

All are significant foes, and require a full raid force to bring down. The boots are the only exception, which are to be found in the clutches of Efreeti Lord Djarn deep within Nagafen's Lair. Golden Efreeti armor is also the only set of plate graphic armor wearable by all classes, making it highly sought after not only for its stats, but also for its appearance.
