Cobalt Scar
Cobalt Scar is named after the scarring left by Veeshan as she clawed Norrath during the Dawn of Days is more evident in here than just about any other area in Norrath. Large amounts of water has filled in the gouges she left behind, and now the sirens of the Siren's Grotto use its cover to lure unknowing ship crews into protruding rocks. On the land, Drakes & Wyverns of Skyshrine fiercely protect their habitat while a clan of Othmir critters make their home on the beach below the cliffside.

Dangers
- Drakes & Wyverns can be found all along the top of the ridge. These are on Claws of Veeshan faction, so if you can safely travel through Skyshrine you can travel through here. The exit back to Skyshrine is also surrounded by Wyverns, and if they don't like you invis will be needed.
- Othmir will attack anyone in wolf form.
- Sirens can be found throughout the large body of water. All of them are ENC and many are difficult to spot. Since they are enchanters, they are especially dangerous, with charm and magic-based direct damage spells.
- Bulthar can be found underneath the tower leading to Skyshrine. They have a very large aggro radius, but do not see invis.
- Kelorek'Dar is occasionally found in the water swimming about. He is dangerous for obvious reasons, and water travel is not very safe, instead you should levi over it all.
Benefits
- Othmirs generally like anyone and provide merchants/quests. They used to act as guards when fighting the cobalt drakes, but they no longer do so.
- While the Drakes & Wyverns are on Claws of Veeshan faction, killing them does not decrease your faction at all. The named ones, however, will give you faction hits.
- Being that this zone is quite open, it is a good place to fight solo (popular quading spot).
- Gems needed for Velious Class Armor drop frequently here.
Traveling To and From
To enter Cobalt Scar you must first travel through Skyshrine. A Key to Cobalt Scar is required to use the teleporter inside the dragon city to zone here. Someone who already has a key can also group with you and click you through. Once you obtain the CS tooth from the portal, however, you can also teleport here. A WIZ can TL you directly to CS without the need of a tooth or key.
- Skyshrine is located atop the tower were you can click the statue surrounded by wyverns. This requires nothing.
- Siren's Grotto is located underwater in the Northwest. Following along the cliff face, you can see the cave opening.
- Plane of Mischief zone out in the water around (76, 560).
